Joan C. Webb: Life Coach

Life Coaching from a Distinctly Christian Perspective

Joan C. Webb close-up

I’m continually amazed by the coaching model, a powerful alliance between the coach and coachee. Both of us are active collaborators. Yet, as your coach I hold your agenda. We focus on what you want and what you believe God is inviting you to be and do.

I believe that you have the answers or that you can find your answers. I don’t have your answers; instead I have questions. Powerful questions and tools to help you lessen the sabotaging voice in your mind, listen to yourself and God, and move past the obstacles that keep you in the status quo. We design our coaching relationship uniquely for you. I work with you to help you stay on course. Action and learning combine to create change. In coaching the goal is not completing the “to do” list. I’m not your nagging parent, boss, or inner taskmaster. I’m your partner and cheerleader. Coaching focuses on three main principles: fulfillment, balance, and process. It is about your whole life. I just want to make sure your own agenda (and God’s voice in your life) doesn’t get lost.

Often coaching can best be explained by giving you stories of how others’ lives have changed–and I have lots of exciting stories. So call me and let’s talk.

There is absolutely no doubt about it: Coaching works!

 Are You…

  • In transition?
  • Longing for change, but not sure where or how to begin?
  • Looking for greater clarity, focus and direction?
  • Needing to better manage your time and life?
  • Desiring a career jumpstart?
  • Wondering what God wants you to do next?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, Life Coaching may be what you need. Contact Joan for more information: Call 480-659-0440 or 480-635-2730.

Coaching is a designed partnership that helps you live intentionally in all areas of your life. Joan assists you in clarifying goals, passions, and God-given dreams by asking powerful questions that evoke understanding, discovery, commitment, and action. Together you create specific action plans and simple effective structures for implementation and accountability. You experience affirmation and support as you celebrate your growth and accomplishments.

Coaching Formula: Focus + Extraordinary Action + Structure = Results

Whoever catches a glimpse of the revealed counsel of God—the free life!— and sticks with it, is no distracted scatterbrain but a man or woman of action. That person will find delight and affirmation in the action. James 1: 25 MSG

You want more than the status quo. You want a sense that you are moving in the right direction, staying congruent with your values, and achieving significant results. You need assurance that your daily choices are helping you become the person God designed you to be. Personal Coaching can help you discover and affirm your genuine desires and provide you with support as you overcome obstacles and learn to live “on-purpose” in each domain of your life.

What can you expect?

A partnership that helps you gain clarity on key decisions, set goals, and move beyond obstacles.

One session at the same time each week, usually taking place on the phone.

Life areas addressed in coaching include:

  •  Spiritual development
  •  Career/life work
  • Relationships and Family
  • Self-care/Health
  • Personal Growth

What Others Are Saying:

“I decided to hire a personal coach, because I felt that I had too many things going on over which I had lost control. Coaching gave me tools and insight to focus and gain better control over my life (family, work, projects, time and relationships. Now I understand that if I don’t organize my life, someone else will do it for me. Joan is skilled at what she does—she always helped me find best solution.” ~ Hannah A., business owner, mother/wife in MN

“Entering a major transition, I became increasingly aware of my need for someone to journey with me into uncharted territory. I felt overwhelmed. Partnering with Joan helped me regain a sense of worth and balance. Unexpected joy and freedom followed as I learned to embrace the shift from married to single stay-at-home mom to college student and employee. Through coaching, I found I could enjoy this leg of the journey and not merely endure. Coaching helped me to see my world as a place of open-door possibilities.” ~ Debbie Yamane, Phoenix, Arizona

“For the past five years, I had been stuck about whether to stay or leave the job I’d had for 20 years. Indecision caused me to slump spiritually, emotionally, physically & mentally. Joan asked me insightful questions and helped me see that I was disconnected from some aspects of myself. I benefited from her affirmations and the accountability. I am now on a new adventure—I left my job and am going to real estate school. I face each day with anticipation! Something I haven’t done in along time.” ~ Mary Alice C., business woman, mother, grandmother

Intentional Woman Life Plan

A One-Day Intensive One-on-One Process to Develop a Strategic Plan for Your Life

(Hi! Just a quick note: the Intentional Woman Life Plan is a great springboard to Life Coaching. I offer special  pricing for those who schedule an IWLP before they start weekly coaching. Coaching and Life Plans work together well. Call me and ask how it can work for you.)

  • What is God’s purpose for my life?
  • How can I balance my life?
  • Where do I go from here?
  • What is my mission in life?
  • How can I make a difference?
  • Isn’t there more to life than this?

Are you asking any of the above questions?

If so, then you may be ready for an Intentional Woman Life Plan (IWLP.)

Take a step toward a calmer, more meaningful life.

Your Intentional Woman Life Plan (IWLP) is a personalized strategic charted plan, developed over an eight hour period, designed to guide and focus your next action steps.

At the end of the one day one-on-one interaction with Joan, your lifeplan facilitator, you will walk away with clarity about who God created you to be and how your past experiences have impacted you and how you can use this clarity to make strategic decisions about your future. You’ll gain focus, hope, answers, and purpose as you and Joan chart out a plan for forward movement in your current roles.

Yes! God has a unique plan and purpose for you. Your work cannot by done by anyone else. It is your privilege and blessing to discern God’s design and ideas for your life. An IWLP will help you organize and balance your life around your heart purpose.

You may want an IWLP, yet may not be ready. Instead, you may need counseling. The IWLP is not therapy, nor prescriptive in approach. It is planning process which respects the Holy Spirit’s work in drawing out your insight. The facilitor is process; you and your life story are content.

This may be one of the most important investments you will ever make. Contact Joan and she’ll be happy to discuss the fee with you.

Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.

Hi Joan,
I am curious to find out how much it costs to go through your Life Plan or your coaching. I don’t know if you have a set time frame you do either in or if it just depends on the person.
Thanks so much.

Good Morning, Joan

I know that you do not know me. I feel as if I know you. I worked at McClendon Mortgage a few years ago. I received an email, which led me to your website, I purchased the Intention Woman book. Recently, I was at Bookman’s and had said something to a friend. I found your book Imperfection and the exact statement from my mouth was on the cover. We laughed and I bought the book.

My husband and I, planted a church in the east valley, Queen Creek area. The church is a year and a half old. I wear a lot of hats including working full time! I have thought for a long time that I have such an interest in a life coach and thought of you. So, I am inquiring as to the cost of such a thing? My second interest, I think that I would like to be a life coach and wondered what it would take to do so?
